Presentation

We are delighted to announce and welcome you to the 3rd edition of the International Workshop on Translational Cancer Research (IWTCR), which will be held in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) on October 5-6th 2023.

IWTCR encompasses basic, preclinical, and translational cancer research and its aim is to discuss the latest advances in these different areas by inviting international speakers and bringing together clinicians, basic and translational researchers. It represents a fantastic opportunity for the cancer research community to build new knowledge and establish fruitful collaborations.

We are proud to announce that this year, on the first day of the workshop, there will be a joint session on Lipids & Cancer with the International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids (63rd ICBL, Palma de Mallorca, October 2-6th 2023). Researcher-student interactions will be encouraged through "Meet the Expert" sessions and lunch, and poster sessions in the afternoon. To end the first day, a selection of the best abstracts will be presented as short talks.

The second day will be dedicated to invited national and international speakers focusing on three avant-garde topics in the field: From Cancer Multiomics to Therapeutic Guidance; Innovative Cancer Applications, and Translational Cancer Research.

Early career researchers are encouraged to submit their most significant contributions for oral presentationes and posters. The best in their class will be awarded.

IWTCR will take place at the Auditorium de Palma, facing Palma´s beautiful bay and nearby the cathedral and city center, giving the opportunity to enjoy relaxing walks along the seafront, while sharing impressions oh the meeting and talks. We really hope you make it to Palma in October and join us for this exciting event.
